DescriptionHigh Pressure Laminate (HPL) plaat toegepast als plaatmateriaal op een niet dragende elementwand. HPL plaat is een massieve, compacte plaat die is opgebouwd uit houtvezels met daaraan toegevoegd een op fenolhars gebaseerd bindmiddel. HPL-plaat wordt gemaakt door onder hoge druk en hoge temperatuur de houtvezels en de hars samen te persen. Voor deze variant is uitgegaan van hout dat afkomstig is uit duurzame bosbouw (met keurmerk). Het soortelijk gewicht van de plaat is ca. 1394 kg/m³. Er wordt uitgegaan van 1 m² plaat met een dikte van 8 mm (11,2 kg materiaal).
